We harness the state-of-the-art administrative and technical facilities provided by IIT Mandi.
We make use of IIT Mandi’s cutting-edge administrative and technical facilities. Our startups benefit from a formidable support system on campus, which includes everything from conference rooms to technical laboratories. We are also establishing a dedicated fabrication lab for startups under the NSTEDB, DST Nidhi-Prayas Scheme. The lab’s plan and funding have already been approved.
In 2020–21, Catalyst established Prayashala, a dedicated Fabrication Lab designed exclusively for startups. This state-of-the-art lab serves as a rapid prototyping platform, enabling innovators to bring their ideas to life. In addition to supporting prototype development, Prayashala also serves an educational purpose, providing hands-on training in advanced fabrication technologies. Startups can learn to operate equipment such as 3D printers, PCB prototyping machines, CNC routers, as well as design and simulation software. The lab is also equipped with a wide range of electronic and mechanical tools, empowering startups to design and build (almost) anything. Prayashala plays a critical role in helping early-stage ventures translate concepts into working prototypes efficiently and effectively.
IIT Mandi has state of the art laboratories in various domain areas. These are available for access to startups at subsidized rates as per IIT Mandi policy.
