Job Title: Co-Founder - Research Scientist & Formulation Lead

Qualification: PhD or Master's in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or Materials Science. Final-year PhD students are also encouraged to apply.

Job Profile: A founding role at TaapSense (IIT Mandi BioNEST/IGNITE Incubator) to lead formulation chemistry for a leuco-dye + thermal acid generator cold chain indicator platform. The co-founder will own the scientific direction developing polymer matrix formulations, conducting Arrhenius kinetics experiments, filing patents, and building towards a WHO-compliant Vaccine Vial Monitor (VVM) and food/diagnostics TTI products.

Payment: This is an equity-first founding role. Co-founders receive 8-12% equity (full-time) with vesting over 3 years. A funded salary of Rs 50,000-80,000/month is tied to the BIRAC BIG grant currently under submission providing a clear and near-term path to cash compensation.
